We are all the same on the inside. Gender identity is our, individual experience of gender. It is linked to our sense of self, and the sense of being male, female, both or neither. The LGBTQ community has been seen to be different or abmnormal to some people. Negative responses towards their community puts these people at increased risks with violence compared to other people. Reported 47% of Transgender people in Ontario attempted suicide in 2010. As Canadians, as we have done a tremendous amount of work helping and supporting the LGBTQ community our work is not done. Please help and sign this petition to show you care and make a difference the world would like to see. :)

Reaching this current level of support reflects a growing commitment to the safety and dignity of the LGBTQ community. It is encouraging to see so many people acknowledge that our collective work remains unfinished.
