4H offers many values to it’s members and helps prepare our youth for future jobs and leadership. For those that say it isn’t inclusive try reaching out to a local chapter and attend a meeting or visit with a member before judging the organization

I grew up taking animals to the fair.
In the eyes of the animal, being selected to show at the fair would be the highest of honors. They get special treatment year round with baths, brushing, etc. other farm animal do not get that.
Taking animals to the fair also teaches kids commitment for the end goal. Also it teaches loyalty and friendship to the animal they are showing. There is a bond and trust between the 4H-er and the animal that is unheard of.

Why anyone who prevemt positive activities is not informed or prefer ro have the kids getting into trouble. Depending on rhe trouble , if the kids go to jail we as tax payers pay for that too. So do the right thing and support your local ag association.

I sm 64 sndgrew up on rodeo.I raised my son in rodeo. I never had to bail him out of jail and he is a kind and compassionate member of society and s member of law enforcement. He is not slone..this is the norm for rodeo raised kids. You take away rodeo ... you will lose kids to the evil of this world.

4-H is a group who welcomes everyone and helps everyone explore their talents from sewing to photography to livestock to public speaking!!

We support rodeo. Where I live we have several different ethnic, race that show livestock and rodeo. It is great for the kids to have the opportunity to learn about ethics, sportsman, animals and life long friends.

4'H FFA and the associations that support them do not determine the people who participate. Participation is totally voluntary by the person participating and the 4-H and FFA projects are supported by the participant themselves.

My four girls learned responsibility, caring for others, and that hard work pays off by being in 4H and FFA. They are now all married with children passing on responsibility and caring through 4H.

Rodeo animals are treated wonderful. Knowing from first hand, and we take care of our animals better than we do ourself!
