There is no one in this county greater deserving of a pay raise than our fine men and women of the sheriff's office. These brave people who have to be away from there families all hours of the day and night to make sure we county residents are safe and secure. We have already lost too many outstanding officers to other counties and precincts because of the higher pay they receive.

please increase the pay for our sheriff and deputies. They put their lives on the line daily. They are always quick to respond and take care of our count.

HCSO provides me and my family with a safe environment! We feel that in order to keep wonderdul officers we need to provide them with better pay!! They deserve it!!

The pay scale in the county is a little skewed if a machine operating jailer for the county can make $18.50 starting and a Deputy Sheriff will start at $13.64. Give me a bull dose and I will patrol on that.

We live in a safe community and it's due in part to our fantastic Sheriffs Office. Please compensate them as Sheriff Jolley has requested.

We continually lose, or aren't able to hire, men and women that live in the county that PREFER to work here because of the pay. My brother, who lives in HC, works for CPD because they make more (which in and of itself is a laughable amount) than HC deputies.
