Working in the health industry I fully support Dr Grandison's application to remain here. Please reconsider and get in touch with real people......not just numbers on a page. Thank you.

The family should be entitled to stay. They are very generous and never ask for anything. Tom was poorly before they were given their last visa and nothing had changed.

I fully support this family's right to have permanent residency. They are hard working and community minded, and give back so much more than Tom's education and future care could potentially cost.

Not only are the Grandison family an attribute to society, they also contribute in so many ways. There always seems to be a discussion in the media and within the government regarding the difficulties finding and retaining valuable assets in our country and community. So why is such a valuable asset to our community about to be lost? I am a patient of Dr Grandison and have been for many years. I am proud that he is my GP and if he is deported I will struggle to find one as diligent and caring as he is.

A more thoughtful and caring family couldn't exist. If Australia welcomes these type of people into our communities I believe we will all benefit from being among them.

Steve is a great guy and a fantastic GP, it would be a great lose to Noosaville if he was made to leave.

I thought it was illegal to discriminate on the basis of a disability. Clearly the family have clearly demonstrated their ability to manage Tom's condition and their generous community spirit. Any one of us could have an accident at any moment and suddenly require medical and other support care. Our country can afford to provide this. The Grandisons should NOT be refused residency on this basis. The federal government's complete lack of compassion towards those in our society who need it most, makes me embarrassed to be an Australian.
