When a family like the Grandisons come to Australia and offer more to the community than a lot of Australians do , how could they be denied a permanent visa !

Australians have bigger hearts than this. Give the Grandisons a chance.

We need people who can look after themselves and their family and in Stephen 's case, after others. I wonder which team of people would bring such an illogical decision upon this worthwhile family!

I write in support of the Grandison Family in the appeal of their current visa application. This family makes a significant contribution to my community and if they do not obtain a permanent visa then it will be detrimental to our community. Based on current circumstances and the behaviour they have displayed in our local community I do not believe they will allow themselves to be a financial burden ever in the future. Please consider approving their permanent visa application so that they remain here in our local community where they have support and are making a valuable contribution. Kylie Schweikert

What a disgrace on the Australian government, we need good Doctors like Stephen in Australia, why discriminated because of a disability. Wake up Australia.

The Noosa Community would face a huge loss if the Grandison family were to be forced to leave Australia. The value that this family brings to the community completely dwarfs any potential costs that the Government may have to spend for Tom's care. I'm speechless that this is even an issue in 2014. I thought we were the lucky country ? Good luck Stephen and family, you have our support !

As a mother of a child with special needs, I do not rely on the government for providing everything that my child needs, its such a small amount of money it would'nt even pay for a therapy session. We as a family have chosen to work so that we can provide our child with the best support both emotionally and finanically and into the future.

Steve has been my GP for over a year.I believe him to be caring.,responsible and an asset to our community .I support his application and believe Tom will not be a large financial burden on the community given the Grandison family's circumstances

It is areal shame that our government is trying to throw out one disabled boy whose family is well employed and self sutainable while we let thousands of uneducated people without documents in with very suspicious backgrounds. This needs to be corrected fast. we need peopl like Grandisons in our society. I have heard of many cases like this and it is not right!

I definitely support the grandsons to stay in Australia and in Noosa. they will contribute far more to the community and our country than any financial support they may require for their son. I want to see them be part of my community permanently
