Support for the Frederick County Public Schools Capital Improvements Plan 2017-2022

Growth is here in Frederick thanks in part to the public schools provided in the county. I for one used that as the basis of moving my family to the area 3 years ago. We either take steps now to be proactive, or we wait and face hard decisions later.

This is an important issue that needs a solution for the betterment of our children and community.

These projects are already behind and are much needed. Our tax rate is embarrassingly low considering our construction in the area and our debt service. Raise taxes and get this done.

To many kids in one class and only one teacher does not allow our kids to get a good education when they r all on different levels

The Snowden Bridge Community is in urgent need of an elementary school. Numerous families with young children are continually moving into that area and then their children have to go to totally overcrowded schools which makes learning difficult. The construction of a new elementary school in Snowden Bridge needs to start immediately.

Stop the overcrowding of our kids' schools!!

New schools are needed to accommodate the growth in our county. There is no investment greater than the education of our children!

Too much growth in the county to not build a new school or stop growth

Please approve the school!!!! I've got 3 kids and it's needed more than anything right now. Kids are not getting the attention they need because of over crowding and even the busses are getting to crowded. Thank you

Please don't delay the process of building this elementary school any longer. Snowden Bridge is growing rapidly into a family friendly neighborhood and with that being said, it will only make the current elementary schools more crowded. Children are our future and the only way to help them succeed is to make sure they have the proper learning environment to succeed. Please keep our kids futures in your thoughts and don't delay this anymore than it needs to be. Thank you.

Please move forward on the original timeline & on the same projected budget. We must have good schools with adequate room & staff for all children to receive a good education.

Any delay in the move forward on the improvements, especially the 4th high school will impact every single current elementary student.

I don't have any school age children anymore but have had 4 that have graduated from the public school system. I understand the importance of great schools for our nations children.

I do not want to live in a county that does not value and commit to education.
