I've been calling for this move by the politicians for months. Pragmatic, sensible, centrist policies for the masses.

We will recover from Brexit but why do we need to recover from a self-inflicted wound? Brexit will wipe out the future of the next two generations if it is allowed to continue in this insane way.

Brexit daily revelas inteself to be a catasrtophe. The government is divided and utterly incompetent, Jeremy Corbyn mysteriously refuses to do his job and oppose. The only hope for a sensible solution to this fatally divisive issue is a progressive alliance. The whole country is going to have to work together to heal the damage already caused by brexit and to reach compromises that will go some way to addressing the wishes of everyone in the country - not just Leavers or just remainers but both. We need a proper, lengthy debate on membership of the EU and its advantages and disadvantages. If we can't even form a cross-party alliance to oppose the current appalling debacle, how on earth are we going to come up with a sensible long-term solution?

I think this is beginning to happen. But when are we all going to wake up: STOP BREXIT?
