We the people of County Down, County Louth and beyond wish to express our deep disappointment at the refusal by the SEUPB to progress the application for the Narrow Water Bridge project.
We do not accept your decision that the Narrow Water Bridge project cannot be completed by 2015.
The Narrow Water Bridge would connect County Down in the North of Ireland to County Louth in the Republic of Ireland at a point where there has never been a bridge before.
It would bring together two of the most beautiful regions in Ireland opening it to unparalleled levels of tourism, not to mention the incredible positive impact it would have on the economic development of the Carlingford Lough region.

This link is long overdue for the area. Would be great for business on both sides.
Driving all the way round is a pain. Would cut my trip in half.
So fed up with the delays. Just build the thing already!
ABSOLUTELY NEED THIS BRIDGE. Tired of the excuses honestly.
Living in Carlingford and this would be massive for us. Such a missed opp.
This would help tourism in our town and is greatly needed.

Why do they always make everything so difficult. This bridge makes total sense for everyone around here.
