It is important to look after our countryside traditions. There are some people who will not be happy until we get up, drive to work, drive to the shopping mall and then back home again, and repeat this on a daily basis forever. What a dreadful existence to look forward to. Long live the Boxing Day meet, what better way is there for both mounted and un-mounted to get out and celebrate our wonderful heritage.

Its a fantastic tradition - one that attracts a huge crowd. It is a great spectacle, bringing the country to the market town - as it has for many years.

This is a tradition that should be kept for all those thousands that still enjoy. Do not let the trouble making minority change this - after all, it doesn't affect them in the slightest anyway.... and in all likelihood, they probably have nothing better to do with their time than ruin other peoples / families (yes, that includes children) enjoyment .
