I and the CLSB club fully supports the snowmobile trail within the Blue Mounds State Park as unanimously approved by the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board at their January, 2016 meeting.

Trails are hard enough to maintain without the decisions of others that could potentially block or shut down permanent. State parks should be open for tax payers to enjoy all year round.

Keep the trail through the park

A snowmobile trail within the Blue Mounts State Park will add to the enjoyment and recognition of this natural treasure. And given the short snowmobile season it is hard to believe anyone can protest this low-impact usage. The animals share use of the trials as do cross country skiers and hikers. It takes no small amount of effort and care by numerous volunteers in snowmobile clubs throughout Wisconsin to maintain connecting trails and increase tourism in our beautiful state. It is important to keep our state parks open for this fun winter activity to be enjoyed by all. Thank you for your consideration.
