As someone who makes a living writing and speaking about the challenges to and intersection of physical retail and e-commerce, I firmly believe that it is developments like this one that will define communities' willingness to be relevant in the 21st century, and determine whether they will be able to survive in the future. And, as someone who has spent the last 33 years living in Darien, I am excited by the efforts of David Genovese and Penny Glassmeyer to make this a reality, and am happy to sign my name to this petition supporting this project.

I have been a supporter of this project since it was a twinkle in David's eye. The love of community are so obvious in the painstaking details to make this the best plan for Darien and can not be disputed by the commission. It is beyond time to act and approve this project.
