So unfair!! Ridiculous sentence for first time offender

These boys work hard, have families and are trying to put back into the community. Yes, what happened was wrong, but two years in prison away from their families and children at Christmas is horrendous. I would like the judge to justify theses sentences and explain why the harshness for most first offences.

Been reading all the articles and comments etc. Such an unnecessarily harsh sentence. Good luck to you boys, don't let this change who you are.

Massive injustice. Community service would've sufficed. Especially as there seems to be no consistency with the judges previous cases.

Barbaric sentences for all those boys and my lovely Lewis. Kind, caring and selfless and completely undeserving of this whole mess xx

Totally unjust sentences from a power hungry judge looking to make an example of these lads. Have seen worse violence at Championship level football with less consequences

Crime doesn't fit the punishment you read/hear of druggies/burglars etc being given no sentence compared with what they've done these decent lads did something silly and a power tripping judge has effectively ruined them as good citizens and their future lives. Disgusted.

When the Judge gives baby molesters a smaller sentence than some handbags at football you know something is wrong!

These sentences are an absurlute joke ... Does five minutes of silliness really deserve a two year sentence ... Thieves , shoplifters and druggies wouldn't of got anywhere near this on their first offence An appalling decision which has wrecked many families of Atherstone
