I know of a lot worse 'crimes' that have been commited with less of a sentence. Yes, maybe you want to show it is not acceptable to run on a pitch without permission but this has/is ruining a persons life which is not okay. Make people more aware instead of ruining people's lives all together just because you have the power to do so.

I think these sentences are way too harsh these lads are good lads and do not deserve these hefty sentences they knew they were in the wrong but come on this has affected them for the last 2 years and now all there careers are ruined too play fair Mr judge xx

Absolutely disgraceful decision from the judge ,people do a lot worse and get a way with a lot less punishment Justice system is a joke ,let's get this petition big and get those lads back home so they can begin to rebuild there lives that the judge has totally destroyed

Ridiculously high sentences. There should be NO custodial sentences for this...6-12 months suspended and a fine would've been sufficient!!

I consider any custodial sentance for this crime to be ridiculously out of proportion. Why should my taxes be supporting an out of touch judge and feeding boys whom shoukd be doing community service, which would be far more beneficial to those lads and beneficial to the community. It's a shocking outcome.
