I fully support TerraSole and its owner Pietro Polini. If the restaurant was forced to close it would not only be a huge loss to have our beloved restaurant and its amazing staff suffer the consequences of bureaucratic negligence from the town, but foolish from an economic standpoint. We've been customers of TerraSole since it opened, and being a successful small business owner in Ridgefield, we've hosted countless business events and large-scale social gatherings; all of these events have positively fueled the surrounding businesses in town, and of course, places of lodging. As long-time, proud Ridgefield residents, if the town does not choose to work with a successful small business who tried to follow the correct path, the town will suffer a far greater loss than what they are looking at on paper. I would have thought that the department of Planning and Zoning might have creative thinkers and problem-solvers who would work together with a business who has given the town so much. Please don't let this happen.

Terra Sole is such a warm and wonderful establishment, people literally are coming to Ridgefield from many miles away! The excellence of the food and hospitality are already legendary. Please don't make it difficult for this amazing establishment to continue as it is. Terra Sole contributes much to the Ridgefield culture, not to mention the local economy, across the board.

Leave this gem alone! And let them keep the outside structure. The restaurant serves better everyone if it’s not crowded. This fantastic place just makes Ridgefield a better place! Town officials should have other things to worry about. Like fixing the traffic lights by Stop and Shop. TerraSole, we love you,

The town works for the people, not vice-versa. While P&Z may be well-intentioned to preserve the beauty of Ridgefield, it should also act in it's best interests. Is it really in the best interest of the downtown to see this restaurant close when there is little doubt that a solution could be worked out?

This was an excellent restaurant when we lived there in Redding and we have followed it since we moved. It has been beautifully enhanced and has been terrific for Ridgefield because it has attracted a lot of my out of town friends … and they all rave about it and return often!!

This is a great restaurant that adds so much to our town!!! It has been so beautifully expanded and adds to the charm of our town! This exquisite cuisine enhances Ridgefield’s dining experience ! I can NOT believe the town is creating such an issue when all these multi family homes are going up all over town and basically ruining the quaint feeling that Ridgefield stands for and we all so love!

The town needs to leave well enough alone. They did nothing wrong and everybody loves this place. How about they start focusing on the overbuilding that they keep approving in the town and the removal of all the green space instead of trying to squeeze out hard-working people who are giving an amazing service to those of us in the community who wish to have it.

We have been her for 30 years and have seen many restaurants come and go. Finally we have a gem, let’s try to keep it in our town. Don’t make it hard for small businesses to survive. I beleive that Pietro is speaking correctly- Covid was a confusing time and perhaps the leadership or guidance he needed wasn’t provided. It was all so convoluted. Glad it is over and I stand with Pietro.
