My children, who are 42 and 37 both learned to swim at an incredible swim instructor’s home. I myself, a native of Miami learned in a neighbors pool. Allyson has proven her capabilities over the years in a good, safe environment

If Allison has had a license to teach swim lessons at her home without incidence, there is no reason SSpgs should deny her renewal. We support Allison !

This is encouraging people not to get a business license. Just plain stupid. Come on Sandy Springs government, can you focus on things that really need fixing in this city, not punish citizens who are contributing great things to this community?

What happened to our “libertarian” government in Sandy Springs? You know the one that claimed to support the small business and believed in getting government out of the way for those small businesses? This is absurd. I don’t even know Allison. But I know my kids were taught by someone that didn’t go to the city and register herself as a business. So you’re punishing the ONLY backyard swim instructor that is registering her business with the city? A law-abiding proud Sandy Springs resident? Because she doesn’t teach an indoor activity? This is literally the dumbest thing ever Sandy Springs. Fix it. And soon. Or kids will go find someone without a license to teach them to swim.
