We the students, parents, families and community members of Student Empowerment Academy would like the SEA Board of directors to remove Mr. Neal Kleiner as SEA Board President and announce a vote of "No Confidence" for SEA Principal Ms. Renee Williams.

Why we feel the need for petition because:

We the committee support the teachers of Student Empowerment Academy.

We the committee support the parents and families of Student Empowerment Academy.

We the committee want the full implementation of the Student Empowerment Academy Charter petition.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams are preventing parents from speaking at board meetings and council meetings.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams are preventing parents from fully participating in the governance of SEA.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams are forcing teachers, counselors and assistant principals to leave the school, if they speak up for parents and students.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams are hiding the school budget.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams prevent parents from helping create the school budget.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams are preventing the School Leadership, School Site and English Learner councils from doing their legal duties.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams break the law by not following the “Brown Act”.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams are breaking the law by not following the “American with Disabilities Act”.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams are breaking the law by not following the “Public Records Act”.

Mr. Kleiner and Ms. Williams are preventing the implementation of the SEA approved charter.
