equity in education, a reform that allows the education community to grow with diversity that enables the student to make informed choices about what, where and how they will study. It's our future we are building. Standardised accreditation set as education bench marks allows an opening up of the education market for students and consequently should only bring better education opportunities.

I grew up under another country's government for 15 years. I know they kept their promises, earned the public's respect and dos everything to help the community out. As a student I want to know that the government is on my side, and will do things to help the community, which this petition outlines. This not only benefits the student community, but also the country as a whole when the student body increases and more careers and jobs with skill and knowledge help build the community.

As a student studying with a private higher education provider, we cannot access government financial support. Unlike students who study at public universities, we pay full fees and an extra 25% on our HECS debt. We call on the Senators of the Australian Parliament to support student choice. Why should we be disadvantaged simply because of where we choose to study? Education is about increasing opportunity for all. We urge you to pass the government’s higher education reforms so that all students may have access to government supported places regardless of where they choose to study. After all, it’s all about choice.
