Australia is meant to be a discrimination free country, however these changes do not support that ideal. I'm due to complete my degree this year. These changes might make it impossible for me to finish, therefore I will have wasted the past 5 years studying. These changes are discriminatory.

Why should students be discriminated against because they are studying at a private institution. As an Australian citizen, I take offence to being discriminated against in this way. All Australian students should have access to a Government funded education, regardless of where they study, and should not be penalised with excessive fee interest rates. Please be fair to ALL Australians. We are after all, making a contribution to increasing the number of Australians who will ultimately have a higher education and contribute to the workforce. Why make this so unachievable for so many. As a mature age student, and someone who still has a lot to contribute to Australia, I would like to make a request to treat all Australian students fairly. Excessive Fee-Help rates and interest is way above what many can afford. I can't afford these fees. Limiting opportunities for the financially challenged is not the way to treat Australian citizens and definitely not the way to win votes at election time.

I fully support this reform - EQUAL standards for all Australian Citizens attempting to better their situations and contribute to society by seeking a higher education is essential! The Australia economy benefits from its people being educated at a higher level and with the cost of studying decreased and our university/ college options being expanded, it will only attract more Australians to start studying.

I am studying for a new career so I can keep working well into into my 60s. It is unfair that I have to pay an extra 25% on my Fee-Help debt because I have chosen a non-university higher education provider.

Please do not add the 25 percent add fee to Fee Help - it's enough that at a financially struggling single mum has to raise to boys on her own - get a degree that apparently is only the start of the qualifications I need to obtain to be taken seriously in the field of counselling. To burgeon my family with 'changing goal the goal poll' debt is overwhelming. Studying in this county should be something government should invest in not profit from first by charging interest and administration fees on top of tax benefits from my wage when I graduate. I need to help my boys become valuable contributors to society and I need to support myself when to be a valuable contribution in society. Stop proposing to limit my opportunities to support myself. Don't take your money from my light pockets. Take it from those who can afford it.

a bachelor degree is a bachelor degree - my studies should be funded like everyone else's who does a bachelor degree. The system is biased and unfair.

Our education and the Degrees are as widely accepted and are equal to public universities. We should be able to access and access government support.

I should not be disadvantaged for choosing an institution that offers me an online option to earn a degree. I have family responsibilities that require me to study online. I thought government wanted to encourage mums to return to the work place.

Don't increase fees for already struggling students in Australia or punish people because they have to VET to get into a uni course to better their lives
