Wicomico County, Md. Sheriff, Mike Lewis is under fire from The Coalition to Stop Gun Violencefor a statement he made about supporting the Constitution:
"As long as I'm the sheriff in this county, I will not allow the federal government to come in here and strip my citizens of their right to bear arms. I can tell you this, if they attempt to do that, it would be an all-out civil war, no question about it."
Sheriff Lewis swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. While you may disagree with gun ownership, every American should agree that the Constitution is the law of the land and having Law Enforcement protect it is of utmost importance.
