Fully support! We should value and cherish the diversity of this community and our public school system curriculums should educate kids on Asian American history as an important part of American history.
Such a move is also important given the troubling rise of reported anti-AAPI discrimination cases and crimes nationwide.

Fully support! It can help mitigate the anti-Asian crime and other discriminations. All of us who live and work on this land have contributed to this better and stronger country. Their values and cultures etc should be recognized as part of this country history.

I have three children in public school in Howard County, I am a person of faith, and a student of history. I believe it is incredibly important that our children across the state become familiar with a more complete history of our country, including the contributions and struggles of Asians and Asian Americans. These types of educational requirements promote better understanding of the diverse communities and histories of our state, region, and nation, and promote peace and democracy. Please support this legislation.

Asian American history should be an integral part of our public schools' curriculum. Adding it will greatly improve understanding of the trials and tribulations of Asian Americans in the US and their accomplishments and contributions to the society.
Thanks!
