We vacationed with a family and friends here for the past three years. We rented a beautiful 11 bedroom house for my daughter's wedding April of 2015. Best bacations ever. Please don't stop these gatherings.

If people are renting for the prices that sandbridge charge I think celebrations are should be allowed. After all when you bought or built you knew it was a rental area. we have been coming to Sandbridge for 12 years and never had a problem with out of control parties just very friendly families have fun

I think if you own a home in sandbridge and u depend on the revenue you make renting it out to the public your customers indeed have the right to spend their time in the home however they like including beach weddings! Some of these homes ask 20,000 plus a week to stay. Are you kidding me you think you want to ban weddings? Maybe you should consider moving to a area where homes are not rented out!

What a lovely place to celebrate special family events!! Also, such celebrations are likely to capture future visitors which should be wonderful for the economic health of the general community.

My family is a military family. My dad did 32. I did 10; my sister 5. Her husband 20+/; my other sisters husband also did 20+. We traveled all our lives and now live all around the county. One sister and brother-in-law in Georgia. Another in Nevada. My brother is in Delaware, I'm in Maryland and my dad and two other sisters are in New Jersey. We had our family reunion and anniversary at Sandbridge. What a wonderful place to meet, relax, and just have a time to enjoy getting together. And were thrilled to find somewhere that everyone could find something to enjoy doing. We met, during a morning breakfast, at the diner up the road a similar family enjoying a chance to spend time and celebrate family. We enjoyed and respected the neighborhood. Thanks Sandbridge for making this possible. I hope the small group opposed remember that they too will want to sometime have celebrations and events; and this is a beautiful place to have it. I also noted that during our stays there were not loud noises, silly college students, or unkempt areas. Everything seemed controlled, adult, and relaxing even with the family atmosphere.

Had a wedding on the beach in June and it was so perfect! Our whole family was there and we had an amazing time. We will all remember it as being very special!

My husbands whole extended family were able to be together to celebrate my brother-in-laws beach wedding. That is a memory that we love and should not be withheld from others.

This is a beautiful destination for EXACTLY such events without the hustle and bustle of the central tourist locations. It is for that reason that we have chosen this location for family events twice.
