We enjoy seeing the weddings that have taken place in the house next to ours. They have always invited us over. We have never excepted because it is a family affair.

It's a damn shame that a few folks need to be so selfish that they cannot share their location for those people who'd like to have a special coastal/beach memory, whether it be a marriage or an anniversary...
Shame on those people who cannot share with others to have beautiful memories of the coastal area called Sandbridge.
My wife and I had a beautiful stay this past winter. Sandbridge will always be a beautiful memory for us. The community is exceptional and the local folks there are friendly and so welcoming.
To those who can't share...tell them to go back where they came from! How unfortunate it is...

From the point of view of someone who doesn't live there, but is vacationing year 7 in 2016 ... My two daughters (17 and 20) have both talked about how much they would love to have a beach wedding in Sandbridge, VA (when they eventually get married).
If there are problems with some wedding parties, police and consequences are the solution, not punishing law abiding citizens.

We celebrated a birthday this year while vacationing in sandbridge. Our beach trip each year is the one time our entire family is together and not competing with extended family schedules during, for example, Christmas. Everyone is already looking forward to next years sandbridge visit and special celebrations specific to our family gathering.
