I am having a family reunion and have chosen a Sanbridge location because it fulfills my needs. many of the homes are large and can accommodate over 35 people. the community benefits by these functions as they support the local businesses and is a beautiful event. people who don't want this should not live in communities that allow for such large homes. this has to be approved by the neighborhood who approved the large homes that sleep in excess of 35 people, so you shouldn't expect them not to invite a lot of people. This should not be changed after families have invested a lot of money building the homes in this area.

Sandbridge holds a special place in my family's heart. I know that if my daughters choose to get married away from our home town in would definitely be on your beautiful beaches.

C'mon...the pendulum has swung to far to the right already...a persons property is their own and if they wish to rent it out for ANY function that should be their right....Why change and affect the lives of many for the select and privileged few....We all are tired of the "Not in My Backyard" attitude

The novelty of Sandbridge is that it is a perfect setting for celebrating special events which my family has done many times over the 20+ years of vacationing annually. To zone out parking or discontinue rentals for events/weddings would drive folks away and if that is what a small sector of selfish residents want, they will find their communities lacking the financial sustenance to keep road repairs and beach erosion under control. The rental fees and non-refundable damage fees are high enough that any further restrictions will prove Sandbridge not a viable vacation spot.

I was married in a rental at Sandbridge and it offered the perfect venue and vacation all at the same time. I am so glad we were able to secure a Siebert house for our wedding. We kept it small and it allowed everyone a chance to relax in a beautiful setting before traveling back home. Our experience with the surrounding vacationers was warm and welcoming. They all were kind and congratulatory.

My daughter got married in Sandbridge 15 months ago and it's something that we'll always remember. They have been going to Sandbridge for many years and will probably take their kids every summer for many, many years!

do not support this petition. Zoning in Sandbridge needs to be restudied and these monster homes should be designated hotels and thus pay hotel and lodging taxes to the city Residents who live on the beach year round should not have to put up with this stuff!

I do think the city planning commission should require on site parking for the number of bedrooms in each home. Also insist that homes stick to the number of occupants delineated in the lease and to enforce noise ordinances and hours of revelry. Sandbridge has always been a family beach and lets keep it that way. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PETITION

The BEST two weeks of the year are the weeks my family is together in Sandbridge !!
