- Eastern Niagara Hospital in Newfane, NY

We, the undersigned, believe that:

- Recent policy shifts, personnel cutbacks and movement of services and procedures from the Eastern Niagara Hospital site in Newfane NY are compounding earlier changes made, severely impacting the viability of sustainable health care in rural Niagara County.

- The rural populations served by the Newfane NY site will suffer dramatically if the only facility serving the northern tier townships is forced to close.

We, the undersigned, demand that:

- The ENH Board of Directors consent to a Sustainability Evaluation, conducted by an objective, 3rd party, in order to determine economically feasible options and strategies for ensuring a viable and sustainable local hospital in Newfane NY.

- Any further plans to reduce or degrade staffing and/or service/procedure delivery at the Eastern Niagara Hospital site in Newfane NY be immediately halted (or reversed) until such time as results of the sustainability study can be reviewed by the ENH BOD and the Supervisors of the local and effected townships.
