I have seen way to many accidents on 15 and have been passed on double yellow lines more times than I can count. I think at the very lease we need to have emergency lanes in both sides of 15 to allow for emergencies, this will also allow for a place for cars to continue flow of traffic when there is an accident instead of completely shutting 15 down for hours. Having emergency lanes on both sides would also allow for a place to go when a driver crosses the yellow lines. I urge VDOT to consider widening 15 if not to 4 lanes at lease to have emergency lanes on each side!

Hi, I am a new resident of village green community with a newborn at home. We do get bothered by the traffic on route 15, if we have any medical emergency. Would really appreciate if route 15 gets the expansion to four lanes.

There should be no doubt or debate whatsoever that 15 needs to be widened to a 4 lane road (at least). Its ludicrous this is still up for discussion. Do it already. Isn't that what this great infrastructure bill is supposed to be for?

There is currently too much traffic for RT 15 heading north, and improvements are desperately needed to alleviate congestion and for safety.

This road has needed to be widened for a long time. If you want to build more residential, you need to update the road infrastructure as well!!!!
