I have been coming to Rollins Pond for the better part of 50 years and the Paeglow family boat rental has been a very special inviting fixture of Rollins Pond, ever since I was a young kid. Please don't change this. They have always provided a wonderful friendly, quality and safe service.

To whom it may concern,
My husband and I have only started camping, joining friends who love it. Just recently we had the opportunity to rent kayaks and "do the loop". I must admit kayaking allowed us to experience another level of the wonder of nature. You must reconsider the permit decision. In this age of technology taking more and more time, it becomes so important to balance life with these kinds of experiences. Thank you

Being able to rent a Canoe or boat while camping dr Rollins Pond has been a wonderful thing. Hopefully this will continue for many years.

What reason would they have to take away this convenience??? We own our own kayaks but have many friends who rely on the rentals. Please don't take this part of the "Rollins Pond experience" away from people. Thank you from a long time Rollins Pond family.

Canoe rentals at Rollins Pond are a fundamental aspect of our family's experience. We have been renting canoes from the family at Rollins for decades. What separates the service they provide from other DEC campgrounds is the ability to keep the canoe at the site rather than having to renew each day. Rollins is a unique campground because of the number of sites directly on the water. This encourages families like mine to come and enjoy the waterways like Rollins and its many connecting bodies of water. The inventory and diversity of water crafts available is far superior to any other DEC facilty we have visited. Without the canoe rental service my family would reconsider our plans to stay at Rollins. Rollins Pond is an experience like no other. The foundation of this experience is the beauty, well kept facilities, and amenities like the canoe rentals. It would be a shame to remove this service from the dedicated campers at Rollins.

My family rented boats from them for decades. It is so convenient for campers to have the boats right there, especially with such limited water access for bringing in boats rented outside the campground.

so many people depend on being able to rent boats when they are there. My husband and I rented from them back in 1995 on our honeymoon. It would be a shame if they were to be shut down.
