I`ve recently moved back to Rhosddu after living in Coedpoeth for 22 years and I`m appalled by the sight of drug deals taking place on Rhosddu Road. Its a lovely place to live but is being marred by these wasters.

Leaving dirty, used needles lying around can't be allowed to continue. An exchange - 'old for new' has to be implemented.
Discarded used needles is a health risk to all in our communities.

Its so sad when you get councillors and plaid cymru candadates jumping on the bandwagon where have they been the last four years we have major issues in Rhosddu anti social behaviour, drugs etc I find it very disrespectful that they are doing this now when an election is just around the corner as I said where have you been for the last four years

NWP to stop hiding and deal with the issue in hand. WG to support by revisiting the funding of support agencies. Hand up not hand out!!!!

Fair enough these people may have had a bad life that put them on the road to drugs. But the children of rhosddu should not pay the price with their health or lives.

My aunt lives in rhosddu she has been burgled 3 times in the last 10 years she has tried to sell her house and can't has she lives next door to what was once a printers time something is done

Playareas should be a safe haven for fun for children, not a dangerous minefield of sharp potentially life threatening hypodermic needles!
This has to stop! For the safety of people within our communities, we cannot continue with this needle lottery on our streets!
Ask yourself... Would you want this where you live and where your children play?

The emphasis and protection is for the service user, there is NONE for the residents and children our assembly members need to get a grip and change the policy regarding the disastrous needle exchange lobby our AMs after all they are getting payed an exaborant amount of money to represent us. The chemists who supply the equipment or goodi bags get payed for supplying to the service users should share the responsibility, I bet they don't live in the community's that they are destroying shame on the lot of you.

This needs to be set in place immediately, I don't dare take my kids to the park for fear they might come across a needle and the people sitting drink and using.

Something needs to be done to control or contain this problem.
Regardless of what people may say about these people being in need of care and support, they are having a negative impact on the community,
The cluster of support functions in the ward merely act as social gathering spots; they are clearly failing to provide any permanent solutions to the substance misuse issues that are causing people to feel unsafe in their own community.

the area where I work has a constant supply of used needles abandoned by drug users. This is not good for us as employees, nor our clients. it certainly can't be a good thing for anyone coming across a used needle, including children.

About time some thing was done about this , the walk to work in a morning is terrible with them all hanging about , by the traffic lights on grovener road were that Richmond house , that's always rife with all the drunks & druggies to 8.30am in a morning , I'm going to work to keep the likes of them .
