Freedom of Speech is an imperative part of Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
For many years, the Charter and the citizens of Canada have been having our Rights guaranteed by the Charter eroded. If the Charter of Rights is not upheld, Canada will lose a critical piece of not only history, but also our freedom of expression against opinions, ideas and thoughts that we may or may not agree with.
No healthy debate can be had once our Freedom of Speech is infringed upon.
