Support Quality Public Education through School Choice

Unions want to kill charters. All schools should work together.

Having a choice of a better and more fitting school for our kids is crucial for San Diego families. Please help us improve our education system. We love and need charter schools.

I understand the various viewpoints regarding charter schools, including perspectives such as those stated in the proposed resolution. However, these actions halting charter school expansions are definitely not the answer. Charter schools clearly fill needs that parents feel (and data supports) are not met by traditional schools. Any successful solution will embrace both types, and apply oversight equivalently.

School choice is imperative for the success of my children. Without school choice, my children's learning environment would be below par, below the education standards, and unacceptable.
