The United States of America were founded on the fundamental principles of freedom and democracy. The freedom to choose the right path for oneself is on of the many things that makes being an American so unique and rewarding. This right to choose should be ever present, especially in controversial issues such as abortion. Undergoing an abortion is an important and difficult decision many women have been faced with making. Sometimes it may be necessary for health reasons and other times it might just be the best option for that woman. Either way, the choice is hers and hers alone to make. For this reason, it is important that we support pro-choice legislation and bills such as SB 320, which guarantees easier access to the abortion pill on college campuses, to protect a woman's right to choose and pursue the option she sees fit.
