Tough decisions in the economic, political, constitutional and legal sectors need to be taken to reverse the rot that's the cumulative legacies of our failures as a nation. Most unfortunately, other than PMB and a few governors, the necessary feathers are not being reshuffled. We must go beyond the changes so far considered and implemented. We need to return to the regions and provinces in place of state and local governments. We need to urgently reconnect primary producers in Nigeria to the world markets through a robust and organized commodity exchange, and not glorified commodity boards as is being cheaply mentioned. We need to do whatever is necessary, especially through homeownership, to upscale home remittance from its current level of $25 billion to say $50 billion in 2016. We must cease pretending that money, and not brain power, is the core problem of infrastructure deficiency in Nigeria. TY
