I support the PT teachers! I Am saddened for what they are going through right now to try and get the fair contract that they deserve. I know they are anxious to get Back into the classroom. I wish them all the strength they need Make it through this very difficult time and all of the cruel, harsh words.

Treat these teachers fairly. School board needs to show up for meetings and talk directly to the union. School board - you are the ones keeping kids out of school.

I proudly support our teachers! They always take our children's best interests into account! I'm absolutely disgusted with the Distrcits presentation of a "$500 pay increase" with a longer school day-- so work longer for less than $25 a pay. That's called a pay cut folks. Look at the facts. Also, teachers want to decrease class size. Every district around has a limit on class size-- but peters township. Our teachers are invaluable. They are who make or break our community and property value. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. We should be inticing top notch teachers to come here to teach our kids through pay. I want the Best for my kids-- don't you?! This community should be outraged at the fact that our District does not value our educators.

How quickly we forget who motivated us, praised us when we did something well, chastised us when we made bad choices, hugged us when tears streamed down from disappointment, parented us when mom and dad couldn't be there, created a smile on our face when there wasnt one, and most importantly, tolerated us at our highest and at our lowest 8-9 hours a day, 180 plus days a year, for 13 years (K thru 12th). Never ever, forget where you came from......I know that I won't.

I support the Peters Township teachers. Their work is tireless and work hours not restricted to the normal work week. Teaching children requires research and lesson planning. There is NO time in the work day to accomplish that. Sundays and evenings require lesson planning; hours are spent correcting 5 paragraph essays. With 150 students that is time consuming! Let's recognize the hidden hours of good teachers; ones that have reached the state's top recognition.
