As a person who survived not one but two AVM ruptures, I feel that I am not being fully represented by various brain injury alliances as I had an acquired brain injury and, for some reason, that type of injury does not count. I am not quite sure why, as brain injuries are brain injuries and both result in life-altering and devastating outcomes.

I love this. As person living with ABI I can attest to the services that is greatly needed. The TBI fund is great however it does not help individuals with ABI. The need for services for ABI is definitely needed.

Help is critically needed to improve the independence of people who have suffered from ABI

This is so needed. Families need all the support they can get to handle the day to day activities we all take for granted. The caregivers are angels.
