I have a teenager in Hallsville Schools. I am a graduate of HHS. With all the evil happening in the world today, it was great to have a chief that kept me informed on social media, one my child liked and respected. Those are very rare qualities and we can not afford to loose Paul Montoya. We can vote out every one that sent him away!

Whatever the current situation is the fact is Chief Montoya has worked hard and done an incredible amount of good in Hallsville. If he made a mistake, forgive & move on and let the man do his job. He's good at it. He cares.

I believe what the City Council did tonight to Chief Montoya was a slap in the face to the citizens of Hallsville. I think it is totally wrong that what was suppose to be a "public" meeting turned into a backroom private meeting. Chief Montoya was the best Chief Hallsville has had. He interacts with the students of HISD, as well as the citizens of Hallsville. He is always keeping the citizens informed of road situations, weather, traffic advisories, etc. He is the BEST. This is not in the best interest of Hallsville. Bring Chief Montoya back!!!!!

I wish while I was in high school we had someone so willing to be apart of the school and support us! Hallsville is making a terrible decisions and will loose a lot of wonderful people due to it!

This is insane. What he has done for our community is honorable! We moved her from Dallas two years ago and I have never seen a community so close, so involved, so caring for one another. And I think that is because chief Montoya is so involved and is so focused on our safety.

Our community has never thrived like it has since Paul Montoya became a part of us. He is more than Police Chief to all of us. I grew up in Hallsville and raised my son there as well. I would have loved to have someone like him there when my son was growing up.
Hallsville needs him. We need him. He has been such a blessing to so many. I strongly believe God brought him to our community for a reason.

We want are police chief back. He is good for our town. He is very informative about the town from weather to traffic to road closers and so on.
