I would like to see the adoption of "The Parental Rights in Child's Education Policy", a parent friendly policy, put into law.

School is for learning and not for teaching sex.

Sex education has only hurt our children as it becomes a source of acceptance in our society.

Parents need to retain their parental rights to protect their children.

We want the parents to have the utmost rights to make choices for their children's education. The state/school districts need to stop pushing curricula or programs to indoctrinate our children.

People, we need MORE signatures! For example to parents. Do YOU think it's right to allow a little child to play an M for Mature game? Broadly speaking, I think Jerry Brown's answer is a "yes." That is TOO sensitive content people. We will never come to our senses if we don't have enough signatures! Either we have a low amount of signatures and act like "boys can enter a girls' restroom at all times" and don't care at all? Or do we get ourselves back together, get more signatures, and let ALL parental rights be issued AND protected? You CANNOT travel back in time people! If we have to take this to the Supreme Court, go right ahead and do so. It seems this is "never going to end and parents don't have rights." Parents have to have rights!!!

There is already an opt out that addresses all of this. Your children have always had the option to use the health office restroom. Privacy laws, especially regarding minors, prohibit the sharing of personal information with other parents. That protects all of us. Until you have personally examined the curriculum, observed the classes, don't try to tell me what I should think about it. No one's rights are being limited.

Parents should have the right to educate their child according to their beliefs!!! These sensitive areas should not be brought into the classroom.

CVUSD already had an active opt out policy. Do you research. Know what policies already exist and the functions and limits of the school board. Education laws are made and amended at the state level not the local school board. This is nothing but propaganda and fear that you are continuing to spread.
