Liquor Surcharge Waiver for VSOs and Volunteer Fire Companies

I do not under stand how Pa can charge a surcharge of $700.00 when the state sells the liquor. The Veterans and Volunteers both have protected our land and homes and now you want to add insult to injury.

I think it's just Wrong to charge any Volunteer or VS Organization a surcharge. All of You in Government are a bunch Greedy Bums

Please exempt VSOs and Volunteer Fire Companies

As a non-profit, veterans organization we cannot afford this surcharge fee. It is just another tax and as a non-profit we are tax exempt.

Lawmakers want to always increase charges for Vets, How many served as a Vet?

Please exempt VSO’s and Volunteer Fire Companies.

Please pass HB 1901. Paying for the deficit with the money the hard working Volunteers at the VSO’s and Fire Companies put forth in their respective communities is just WRONG !!!

Give veteran organizations a needed break.

Please support HB 1901 on behalf of volunteer organizations like the American Legion and VFW along with volunteer fire department that need every penny they raise to do service in their communities! We thank you for your support.

Vets have paid enough.

The $700.00 surcharge comes out of the money we provide to Veterans. You should be ashamed.

At a time when Our Veteran Service Organizations need support, our state treats them like a commercial cash cows instead of promoting their ability to serve veterans and the community. It is remarkable that they seem to forget the remarkable programs fostered by the Veteran Service Organizations. Is the state so strapped that the non-profits must be penalized?

This surcharge lessens the ability to serve veterans and the community.

ALL VSOs are currently struggling just to stay open and attract new members in the face of a declining military population. The $700.00 surcharge only serves to INCREASE the level of this struggle.

Please stop messing with the veterans organizations!
