Most Holy Father, I wish to express my disappointment at the manner in which the church is allowing this argument on marriage continue. Catholic marriages have always been a starlight for many others, to whittle down the meaning, expression, and character of a catholic marriage will be to rob Catholic couples and indeed all of Christendom the true intentions of Our Lord Jesus Christ on his teachings on marriage. In the words of one of your predecessors, "The worst kind of heresy is that which proclaims true catholic doctrine in itself but adds a drop of heresy like a drop of poison in a glass of water". The church has always upheld her believe in faith and practice together. To separate what we teach and believe from how we live is a heresy. And Satan is on the move to deceive the Church of Jesus Christ. Your Holiness, if by any chance Cardinal Kasper’s proposal is carried out it will bring in to strong question a lot of the church’s CORE teachings: the sacrament of marriage: this sacrament will automatically loose it's meaning. how can a person when he is sacramentally bound to another person, be married to a 2nd person. the question of going to the confessional to resolve this is an absolute abuse of the sacrament of marriage and of penance. so by extension this means a kidnapper who kidnaps Mr. A can go to confession get an absolution and then retain his victim after having gone to the confessional; or that a wife beater who beats his wife can get an absolution and then return home to his sin. your holiness clearly this isn't the Apostolic faith of the church of Jesus Christ. The Sacrament of penance: this Kasperian proposal will lead to a horrible abuse of the sacrament of penance. Because it will no longer be a place where a catholic meets christ, but a place where a catholic meets a priest who tells him, he is forgiven and that he should “go home and continue in his adultery”. The Magisterium: finally it will bring into question the teaching autho

Since the Church is obliged to promote the fullness of truth, always and everywhere, any kind or degree of 'suppresio veri' and 'suggestio falsi' by those speaking in the Church's name is a grave violation of the Church's nature and mission.

Pope St. Felix III: 'Not to oppose error is to approve it; and not to defend truth is to suppress it; and indeed to neglect to confound evil men, when we can do it, is no less a sin than to encourage them.' Let us all hearken to these wise words! All Christians must be merciful, but mercy at the expense of justice creates a false mercy. False mercy is worthless; true mercy is priceless.
