Christ's teachings contradict men's worldly leanings. They can't be reconciled. We are called to self-denial: "For narrow the gate and straitened the way that leads to life, and they are few who find it."

Christ was well aaware when He gave us the Sacraments how we would feel today. What is changed is how we pressent teach or give a Sacramentto others not what is in essence or what it means in fact

The Lord is very Clear in Gospel that Marriage is between one man and one woman only. If one divorces and remarries they commit adultery and their new spouse also commits adultery. The marriage is Valid, as long as each person lives; unless an annulment proves their was no marriage to begin with, Catholics cannot remarry. Also shacking up, cohabitation, are forms of adultery or are fornication. All Sexual action outside what is permitted in a valid marriage between one man and one woman is gravely sinful. Such persons should not approach the altar and receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

As a Catholic American from the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, I believe it's our duty to support our Catholic Brothers and Sisters everywhere. I'm glad to lend my support to this cause in support of the Church's orthodox teaching on Marriage and the Sacraments. God Bless you all.
