More affordable housing is needed in Logan Square. As the neighborhood changes rapidly, long-time low-income residents deserve to stay in the neighborhood they call home.

I think that everyone she be the afforded the right for affordable housing in all neighborhoods and no one person should be right to ban a certain set of people out of a neighborhood based off rumors. People should be based off of their morals and given an opportunity to set roots in a better neighborhood for their children.

I grew up throughout the 35th ward-Logan Square, Albany Park and Hermosa, I want to raise my children here. I refuse to leave Logan Square but the struggle to pay the rising housing costs makes it hard to live here. The Emmett Street Project is my chance to continue to raise my children here in Logan Square.
