Support of Infrastructure Project in Northborough Heights
City Council of Federal Heights needs to address what is a significant disparity in how City Council awards and funds the city's infrastructure projects. The city's awarding and funding of infrastructure projects when analyzed geographically from data for collected from the City Council Annual Approved Budgets and Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for FY 2003-FY 2014, City Council's clear geographic preference. Mayor Thomas and the members of City Council unwillingness to engage in a dialogue about the alleged disparity in Council's awarding of infrastructure projects and funds must end. During the 2013 city election more than one candidate repeatedly stated that they represent the entire of Cit of Federal Heights. Unfortunately, the ability to represent the City of Federal Heights was not seen in how City awards and funds the city's infrastructure projects. We, the undersigned, urge the City Council of Federal Heights to immediately use the FY 2015 project savings to fund the start of the Northborough Heights street rehabilitation project beginning in FY 2015.
