Please continue to preserve the gem that is Palisades. Do not give in to the laissez faire attitudes of some builders who purchase land with the idea that they will thumb their noses at local populations and build whatever their selfish hearts desire. Evidence of these builders can be seen on Viola Road in Suffern, which I drove down in horror yesterday. This entire area has been defaced. Allow one builder to do as he wishes without regard for zoning rules and regulations, and the rest will expect the same.

The proposed house is out of character with the rest of the Historic District. While its size may be legal, HABR was established to protect the district as-a-whole from being destroyed by over-sized buildings.

1 Iroquois Ave.Palisades, NY 10964 .I am against the construction of a 12,000' building in Palisades. It just shows a huge lack of respect to long time residents and intrusiveness to the natural habitat. I would be wary of a church scenario.
