Unless the Hillen Neighborhood Association and Senator Joan Carter Conway has any better ideas for this space, this needs to happen. Frankly, after the death of Ken Harris, I'm shocked that it's taken this long and disappointed that most would not see that this is a MUCH improved alternative.

It's my understanding that Sen. Joan Carter Conway lives and owns property in the same lone community that is working to block this important development. Sen. Conway should know that her job is to serve her district's needs, not just her immediate neighbors. This plaza has been derelict for far too long.

So much potential for this space to be a better anchor for our community. Let's make it happen.

There is nothing wrong with students living on site, and we need more shopping in the community.

Morgan State students and faculty are in need of better retail options near their campus, and this shopping center should be serving as a retail hub in their neighborhood.

Yes, WE need this. Until Senator Conway comes up with something better for the blight (which she's had years to do) then let this proceed! She stated exercising imminent domain. Is that the same Imminent domain that did an amazing job for Howard street? Let's not make perfect be the enemy for awesome

We need to support this plan as probably the last chance we have to make something attractive and vital for our neighborhoods out of what has been an eyesore and pathetic strip mall for too many years.

Homeowner in Ednor Gardens. Please bring a retail anchor within walking distance of our neighborhood!

This would really transform our neighborhood to one in which many people would want to visit. I am already inspired by the new Morgan building. It is so modern and open in its architecture. I lot of times I just park my car over there and just walk up to the building.to get a better feel for it. I hope to new complementary development soon!

I remember when Hecht's was there, the Burlington. Now it looks a mess except for the huge building that Morgan Univ is putting up. Let's bring it back to life.

The plan looks magnificent and is precisely the vision needed to keep great city neighborhoods like this one thriving

I am a resident of Original Northwood and I am in favor of the Northwood Commons plan to redevelop the Northwood Plaza Shopping Center. The current shopping center has been poorly managed and maintained for years. It is a blight and an eyesore in an otherwise vital part of the city. The redevelopment will offer much needed amenties to the residents of adjoining neighborhoods and improve our overall quality of life.
