I am lucky in that I had the opportunity to start pre-quarantine early. Not all have this luxury. Hunting it one of the few activities where you can have next to no contact with anyone. Why is this the stand we are making. Many have bought licenses and will hunt regardless of this last minute rule change

Completely agree, and not just in license fees. There is stand costs, labor hours, food plots if they did one, taxes for a camp/land. Time to get land owner permission etc.... the list could go on

I agree. Atleast shumlin was an avid hunter and understood the 10’s of thousands of us in the hunting community!

Hunting, by it's very nature, involves individuals and very small hunting parties. (You prob have never received an invitation to join such parties).

Oak ridges and thick swamps are Covid-19 hotspots! If you get a deer this season please get ahold of me and I’ll take it off your hands, as it’s probably contaminated!

Outdoor recreation is the best example of social distancing while still enjoying what little we have left to do.
