As a tax paying home owner and business owner, I find it outrageous that this entity feels it is above paying its fair share of taxes. We don't need any more housing, and we don't need any more deadbeats. Thank you to all my officials that have spoken out against this, you have our support.

The proposed project will be a tax burden, as well as an eyesore of a complex. The people of new Paltz have spoken through their elected officials and have every right to deny this project on several levels.

The building of Park Point would only serve the SUNY New Paltz Foundation and Wilmorite, the two parties filing a lawsuit against the Town Planning Board for denying them in May.
Off-campus students will be paying extra taxes if Wilmorite doesn't pay its taxes.
These days we should be preparing new buildings with sustainability in mind, not 80s designed piggy banks so that Wilmorite and SUNY New Paltz Foundation can soak in money and nostalgia.

Build it Right, Wilmorite! It is unacceptable for SUNY to shift the tax burden of Park Point onto the backs of New Paltz residents.
