Over 100 starsss to the Grill House restaurant! Delicious food, beautiful Ambiance, and wonderful people!

I fully support the new Mediterranean Restaurant. Our City should be looking forward to new enterprise to replace run-down or mismanaged businesses and that is exactly what the Thind family is doing. They have respectful proposed a sound wall in courtesy of any noise complaint issues. But all parties need to remember that this is still Route 66 and we've let a lot of our culture and history die out over the years with the loss of many of these such restaurants and business. Route 66 used to be lit up like a Christmas tree with blooming enterprise, a living and breathing town. We should be only grateful to be looking towards getting back to that golden age of this historical road that we so proudly boast about. And further more I have met the owners of the the Diplomat and have been to some of their other restaurants and being a person who had worked in the hospitality industry myself a long time I can tell you they are some of the most responsible restaurant owners/ keepers and that they follow everything to the letter of the law.

I mmet Suki when we worked at Alta Resources together and let me just say this young man is honest, caring, and dedicated. he works so hard. But his spirit is even brighter. This young man doesnt lie or cheat anyone out of anything. His business and property should remain where it is an open to any establishment that wishes to be tenants in. If hes taken the time to research and study the new resturant ready to take over than I stand behind him 100 and would drop everything to show him that support. please allow Suki and his family to continue to be able to rent their property. its his fair right too be able to use it as he sees fit. as long as the new tenants follow all city ordiences. he has my vote to remain open and to rent his property.

Though I have not been to the Diplomat, it gets very good reviews. I would like to have another "sit down" restaurant option in town.
In addition, the Thind family have been long-time residents and good members of our community. Keeping the property vacant will be of no benefit to Duarte.

Love Joey and his wife the owners of the Diolomat. Amazing food and the MediteryGrill they used to own sounds very similar to this and it was an awesome restaurant

These folks know how to Cook. Family functions are dressed and presented as if it was catered.

My family and I would love to see this restaurant in Duarte. We frequently go to other Mediterranean restaurants similar to what bring proposed and feel that this sort of restaurant would greatly benefit our city.

I fully trust the new tenant's business strategy. They run other very successful classy restaurants. Very family oriented restaurant. There's more crime and negative activity at that 1 star Motel.
