Having stayed at Lakeside Lodge this summer, I feel strongly that public access to the lake from the lodge would be a great asset to the resort and its local businesses. In addition, this would improve public safety through safe lake access.

As a previous guest of Lakeside Lodge, I strongly believe that public access to the lake from the lodge & surrounding businesses would be an asset to the area as well as an added attraction for guests. Additionally, it would eliminate the risk of individuals attempting to access the lake from unauthorized areas. Public safety should be of utmost concern to those in authority to make the requested change.

We need more access to retail establishments on the lake. It enhances the lake experience and puts more tax dollars back into the community.

This will enhance both the lake and attached retail complex, improve lake safety, and lower long term Army Corps costs associated with shoreline damage and safety incidents that will be inevitable as people beach and access these areas without a proper and suitable dock structure in place. Allowing these docks would be an easy way to improve and control access, improve safety, and avoid costs to the Corps and taxpayers.

This is a great idea I would help so many businesses. This would boost the local economy as there are thousands of boats on the water during peak season that would stop there for shopping, restaurants, and for church on Sunday.

I believe a dock at Lakeside Lodge would be a positive for the area. People can get there by boat and lesson the number of cars in the area. Win, win for all!
