There are thousands of docks on Lake Hartwell, maybe a hundred in sight of Lakeside Lodge. Why are they not allowed to do what everyone else can do? Thanks Joe Bostic

I was an original owner in Clemson Towers in 2000 and we tried out best to get a dock and was not successful. It is really hard to deal with the Corp of Engineers. If you need assistance let me know—I can try

Granting approval for this will increase safety and provide more patrons the opportunity to enjoy a trip from anywhere on the lake with a safe and secure landing spot which will be good for the Clemson area overall. Safety 1st!

We really enjoyed staying at Lakeside Lodge and had looked and hoped for a dock to walk out on and be able to stay on property. It would be nice to be able to keep the business local so people don't go out of state to find lake entertainment.

Lake Hartwell is a tourist’s dream whether it’s local residents, or out of town guest’s. Additional public access needs to be granted to the lake as the residential and tourist population grows.

I see no valid reason why this request would not be granted by the Army Corps of Engineers. Safety and common sense should allow for this to happen
