Ignorance is not bliss. Due to the ignorance of many parents one of the greatest teachers will be fired at Arcadia. Parents is u ever see this- your children say 100x worse things then what Mr. Peterson is teaching. Wake up. Your children are not perfect but that is ok. Just don't take it out on Mr. P

I come from a country in which books were burned. It is important to encourage diverse reading. It is important that teachers are allowed to introduce children to good contemporary literature. I support Mr. Peterson.

Literature is the social history of people, and a way for our students to meet and encounter the idea of the "other." We cannot simply ignore what is inconvenient or uncomfortable; that is the purpose of education. Let teachers teach!

Do not fire teachers for teaching literature. High school students see much more "pornography" on cable TV. Have faith in their ability to analyze and discern

Too much parent say in how schools are run is counterproductive to the children's getting a good education. Our children's education shouldn't be subject to the influence of a handful of loud parents, who aren't hired to be making decisions about what is best for our children.
