Support Mick Norcross ReDevelopment of the Grand Hotel, Leigh on Sea
This petition has been created in support of recent plans (17/01464/FULM) to renovate the Grand Hotel in Leigh on Sea. Numerous residents have objected to the proposals, for legitimate (and not so legitimate) reasons. However, I truly believe that if the current owner of the Grand walks away from the project, then the building will continue to fall into disrepair and decay. Whilst the plans may not be to everyone's taste, the potential is truly remarkable, and signals the continuance of great things for our beautiful town. Please ask yourselves: if you had the choice between a slowly decaying building which may ultimately have to be demolished, or a the redevelopment of an iconic building, which would you choose?
PLEASE NOTE - WHILST WE APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S SUPPORT, THIS PETITION IS FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS ONLY WHO LIVE, WORK OR FREQUENT LEIGH ON SEA ON A REGULAR BASIS!
THE SOLE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING YOUR ADDRESS IS TO ILLUSTRATE PROXIMITY TO THE GRAND - DETAILS WILL NOT BE PASSED ON TO ANY THIRD PARTY WHO IS NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED WITH THE GRAND HOTEL OR THE PLANNING APPLICATION. A POSTCODE IS SUFFICIENT IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO DISCLOSE YOUR FULL ADDRESS.
