Metro Coffee is part of UWT and should be included in whatever conversations exist, now and in he future, to develop our community. I have loved meeting colleagues and students at Metro.

Facilities: keep your word. "The Metro will stay where it is." "We'll work with our local small businesses." In times of growth and change, iconic places take on incalculable value as symbols of constancy and stability. Listen to Noel Arnaud: "Je suis l'espace où je suis." (L'etat d'ebauche)

Metro IS a part of UWT. It's a place that houses office hours, informal faculty meetings, study groups, etc. The service is ALWAYS friendly and professional. Please consider how UWT can grow while preserving this special part of campus.

We should be supporting local, independent businesses, particularly those that have been with us for so long. Metro Coffee is wonderful part of our campus and the university should do what it takes to keep this as part of the campus experience.

I often use Metro Coffee as a space to hold informal meetings and office hours with students. I have found that students are much more likely to attend these meetings when held in Metro Coffee.
Stephanie and the Metro staff have always welcomed students and have been strong supporters of the UWT community.
